[UPDATE] State Police Identify Body Found In Oswego County

State Police have identified the body that washed ashore in Oswego County over the weekend.
Police say the body is that of 17 year old Anna-Rose Shove from Ontario, NY.

The investigation revealed that Shove was camping with her family at Brennan’s Beach campground in the Town of Richland when she left around noon on Sunday to go swimming alone.

She was not seen again until her body was found by a group of campers at around 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Anyone who may have seen Shove on Sunday or has any information are being asked to contact State Police at 315-298-1470
