UPDATE: Trebilcock Trial, Day Two
Utica, NY (WIBX) – Testimony is continuing this morning in Oneida County Court in the trial of David Trebilcock.
Trebilcock is charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of his girlfriend’s six-year old daughter in Sherrill last July.
The first witness on the stand was an ER nurse from St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Trebilcock was taken to the hospital with stab wounds following the incident.
She says Trebilcock kept trying to explain to her why Lauren Beluis had to die and told her quote — “she was evil and she knew too much.
She said he did not have any life-threatening injuries.
The nurse also said Trebilcock was lucid and did not seem suicidal.
Judge Michael Dwyer is hearing the case.
