Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police have released surveillance photos and video of Thursday morning's robbery of the Adirondack Bank at the corner of Genesee and Elizabeth Streets in downtown Utica.

The suspect is a white man, 5' 6'' to 5' 8'' tall and was wearing blue jeans, a light brown jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt and brown boots.

Police were called to the bank at about 11:00 a.m. Thursday, according to Public Safety Commissioner Dan LaBella.

No one was hurt in the incident and it remains unclear whether or not the man was carrying a weapon, or threatened to use one when he demanded money from the teller.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. It's believed the man left on foot, LaBella said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (315) 223-3510. All calls will be kept confidential.
