Chuncheon, South Korea (WIBX) – It was a disappointing ending for Team USA at the World Wheelchair Curling Championships in South Korea.

The U-S dropped their last round-robin game to Canada, 7-5 and then lost in a tiebreaker to Slovakia, 7-5.

Team USA finished in 5th place overall with a record of 6-and-4 and missed out on the medal round.

They did, however, qualify for the 2013 World Wheelchair Curling Championships that will take place next February in Russia.

Team USA is made up of members of the Sitrin STARS program.
