Syracuse, NY (WIBX) - In an effort to boost the growth of small businesses in Upstate New York, two federal agencies are working together to inform residents of the many opportunities available to them. At a roundtable discussion in Syracuse today, representatives from the Small Business Administration and the US Department of Agriculture, announced the availability of $350 million in investment capital, to support those with innovative ideas for small business development.

USDA Rural Development Administrator Judith Canales says the possibilities are endless and is encouraging anyone with a business idea to contact the USDA's Syracuse office to learn more about the Rural Investment Program.
