Utica And Seven Other School Districts File Appeal In Funding Case
The Utica School District and seven other small city school districts are filing an appeal in a small cities school funding case.
The districts are suing New York over what they contend in inadequate funding by the state.
A Supreme Court Judge ruled against the districts last month.
Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi says he's pleased that the school districts are appealing the decision. Brindisi says he'll continue to fight for a fair and equitable funding formula for school children across the state.
