Utica Biker Slides Across Three Lanes In Trenton, Arrested For DWI
A Utica man driving a motorcycle in the Town of Trenton lost control of his motorcycle and slid across three lanes along Route 12.
New York State Police say 56-year old Douglas Joslin was not injured, nor were any other motorists. The incident occurred on September 26, 2013 just at approximately 11:30pm.
He was ticketed for allegedly moving unsafely from a lane and arrested on driving while intoxicated charges. Joslin refused to provide a breath sample.
He was sent to the Oneida County jail pending his appearance before a judge.
This is not his first run-in with the law. Joslin, the Democratic candidate for Utica's sixth ward, was convicted of second degree vehicular manslaughter in 1985 and spent more than two and a half years in prison.
