The Utica City Football Club has officially named its head coach for the 2018-19 Major Arena Soccer League season.

Ryan Hall, who made his head coaching debut with the Syracuse Silver Knights last season, will rejoin the team as head man for UCFC. Of course, the Silver Knights are no more, having recently moved East on the Thruway to Utica.

Hall is originally from Virginia, but played Division I soccer at Syracuse University.

He played professionally with the now defunct United Soccer League's Syracuse Salty Dogs. And, Hall had stints with several teams what was the Professional Arena Soccer League, which eventually merged with and became the MASL.

Utica City FC begins its inaugural campaign in December. The team's schedule is expected to be released later this summer.
