There's bad news for Utica Club fans. Due to packaging changes, the F.X. Matt Brewing Company has announced its popular local beer, Utica Club, will be out of stock for a brief period of time in 12oz bottles and 12oz cans.  This shortage comes at a very inconvenient time, with demand being higher during the summer months.

"We are making some adjustments to a couple of our packages and the transition didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped. While our sales are strong, it's frustrating to get caught short again and leave our drinkers thirsty," said Fred Matt, President.  "In the meantime there is plenty of UC in draft and 16oz cans."
Utica Club was the first beer to be brewed and sold in the U.S. after Prohibition.  It quickly became a fan favorite and an even more sought after beer with Schultz & Dooley as its beloved spokesmugs.
