The grant will help support the college's downtown Utica expansion project.

College officials say the grant is vital in UC's relocation efforts.

“Our faculty and our students are excited about the move and what it means in terms of supporting the growth and development of downtown Utica,” said James Norrie, dean of the School of Business and Justice Studies.

Undergraduate majors including business, accounting and risk management and information assurances will move to the Clark City Center in downtown Utica.
