Utica College Hockey Awaits Word on NCAA Div. III Playoff Appearance at the Aud

Despite a heartbreaking overtime loss to Manhattanville in the ECAC Semi-Finals on Saturday, the Utica College Men's Hockey Team still hopes to play an NCAA Tournament game at the Utica Aud on March 6th.  Utica, ranked #1 in the East Region of the NCAA Division III, might still earn a bid in the national tournament that pits them against their opponent at the Utica Aud.  Unfortunately, word won't come until after this weekend's conference finals.  Head Coach Gary Heenan cautioned, however, that "there is no guarantee" as the ECAC Conference does not have an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
