Utica College's 2017 undergraduate commencement ceremony is set for this Sunday morning at 9:30.

The 2017 Salutatorian, Mikhail Bushinski, joined WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning ahead of graduation to talk about his future, and interesting entrepreneurial past.

At just 16, Bushinski started his own business. He had an ice cream truc -. Mik Mart Ice Cream in his Minnesota homeotwn. He just purchased his fifth ice cream truck, plays for hockey for Utica College and has been accepted to the law programs at Harvard and Yale.

Bushinski is returning to UC next season to play hockey - he explained he still has a year of eligibility left due to an injury and time missed earlier in his college career - before heading to Yale, he said. He's graduating with a 3.98 GPA and majored in economics, and government and politics.

UC's valedictorian is Remsen, NY native Melanie Carlson. She graduates with a 4.00 GPA and is staying at Utica to pursue a master's degree in occupational therapy, according to Utica College.
