The former Utica College student charged with making threats against the school is rejecting a plea offer.

Fahrudin Omerovic is charged with two counts of making a terroristic threat.

Omerovic's alleged threats led to a lockdown at Utica College on March 5th.

The Oneida County District Attorney's Office had made Omerovic an offer of ten years in state prison in exchange for a guilty plea.

He could face 2 to 7 years in prison on each charge if convicted at trial.

A trial date has not been set.
