Utica College is welcoming its largest freshman class ever today

It's freshman move-in and orientation day at UC.  Some 680 freshman and 200 transfer students are expected.

For the first time in Utica College history, the college had to stop accepting applications.  However, applications are now being accepted for Fall 2017.

A Convocation ceremony was held for incoming students in the Clark Athletic Center.

Upperclassmen will move back to campus on Sunday, including those moving in to the college newest residence hall, leased space at the nearby Ramada Inn.  About 100 students are expected to live there.
