Utica College Hockey Head Coach Gary Heenan is getting the Pioneers ready for their last home game of the regular season tonight.

The game against Nazareth College starts at 7:00pm at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.

You can listen to some excerpts from the morning show:

Keeler compares Heenan with Syracuse's Jim Boeheim but says he would have a different experience bumping into Heenan at the mall instead of Boeheim.  Keeler says Heenan "glows."

Heenan talks about what happens next if the Pioneers win tonight's game and discusses the significance of hockey polls and the difference between polls and rankings. He says they will have a good idea on Tuesday about where they stand among the Division III schools.  He says his team this year shows "flashes of brilliance," and that it is the best team he has coached.

He says that the Utica fan base provides the "icing on the cake" of support that the team receives.  The team reached an apparel deal with Herb Philipson's last week.  He encourages everyone to be smart about the weather but come out and see the game.  He plays meteorologist for a minute...and challenges the First News team to stop predicting bad weather for the night.

Here Coach Heenan talks about eligibility issues plaguing teams like Syracuse.
