The Utica Comets will play a home-and-home preseason series with the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st.

The Comets will host the first game at the Kennedy Arena in Rome at 5:00.  The second game will be played at the Syracuse War Memorial.

“It’s always exciting going back to Rome, which is where my parents are from,” said Utica Comets President Robert Esche. “I’m happy we were able to work something out with the City of Rome and the AHL to highlight such a great hockey community, and to kick off what is to be a very special fifth anniversary season.”

This marks the third consecutive year that the Comets and Crunch will meet in the preseason.

Tickets will be sold for $10 at the Kennedy Arena beginning on September 8th at 2:00. A special Season Ticket member presale will begin at 10:00.

Tickets are limited and will be available until they're sold out.
