Utica Comets Home Opener Wednesday Night

It's the night local hockey fans have been waiting for.

The Utica Comets return to the Utica Auditorium Wednesday night for their 2015-16 home opener.

The Comets, who dropped their first two games of the season on the road, take on the Rochester Americans at 7:00.

Fans are encouraged to be in their seats early.  Doors will open at 5:35pm for season ticket holders, and 6:05 p.m. for the general public.

Pre-game festivities will include a video looking back at last year's Calder Cup Finals run and the unveiling of the Western Conference and North Division championship banners.

The game is sold out.
