Utica Comets To Open Pre-Season In Rome [UPDATE]

The Utica Comets will make their home on-ice debut on September 29th with an exhibition game against the Adirondack Phantoms.

The game will take place at the Kennedy Arena in Rome with face-off set for 4:00.

UPDATE; The American Hockey League has released its 2013-14 schedule, with the Utica Comets opening the season on October 11th in Rochester.

The Comets first game at the Utica Auditorium will take place on October 23rd against the Albany Devils.

That contest will begin a six-game homestand that runs through November 5th.

The home schedule will consists of 29 of 38 games being played on either a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
