One of candidates seeking a seat on the Utica Common Council was unable to garner the required number of signatures to appear on the Democratic line this fall.

Doug Joslin joined First News with Keeler on WIBX saying he's staying in the race and still has the endorsement of the Conservative party.

Joslin is challenging incumbent Republican Samantha Colosimo-Testa, who called into the show as well after Joslin's appearance.

Here is a clip of what followed as Colosimo-Testa brings up Joslin's DWI charge last year, and a listener phones in soon after and lobs an insult at the incumbent North Utica councilwoman.
