Utica DPW Telling Residents to ‘Stick It In The Can’

The City of Utica's Department of Public Works has announced that they have begun their Annual Spring Green Waste Pick-Up.

Starting today, residents can place CONTAINERIZED green waste out for collection.

Containers must weigh less than 50 pounds and any branches or limbs must be no longer than 4-feet in length and placed in bundles weighing less than 50 pounds.

Items such as shrubs, stumps, logs and trees are not allowed. If residents have these large green waste items they can call Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority at 315-731-0238 to schedule a pickup, for a small fee.
