Utica Fire Department Gets First Woman Chaplin

The Utica Fire Department has its first woman Chaplin.  

Mayor Robert Palmieri has appointed Pastor Carol Jubenville to the post.

Jubenville leads the Maynard United Methodist Church congregation.

She'll join Father Joseph Salerno in serving the UFD.

“It is my pleasure to welcome Pastor Jubenville into our family; and we thank her for her willingness to serve our community and provide comfort and the spiritual needs of the Utica Fire Department,” Mayor Robert Palmieri said. “A Chaplin plays an important role in the operations of the Fire Department and I have no doubt Pastor Jubenville will be a tremendous asset to our fire fighters.”
