Utica, NY (WIBX) - Fire investigators in Utica continue to review testimonial and physical evidence from the deadly blaze on Schuyler Street last week that killed a mother and three children, according to Chief Fire Marshal Raymond Beck.

In a press release issued Monday, Beck said there is no specific timeframe for the completion of the investigation. Electical components from inside the home have been submitted for forensic testing, he said.

Meanwhile, the fire department is also looking at five other fires that have occurred in the past week-and-a-half.

Beck says the cause of the fires at 504 Lansing, 643 Bleecker and 740 Bleecker have all been ruled incendiary.

The cause of this month's fires on Jay Street and Erie Street have yet to be determined, he said.
