Utica, NY (WIBX) - Mayor David Roefaro announced today that Utica residents will have an extra week to set loose green waste to the curb.

Starting May 2nd through the 6th, DPW workers will continue to pick up bulk green waste.

The DPW also reminds residents not to use cardboard boxes or their oragen recycling containers for curbside pickup.

Utica residents can also drop off their green waste at the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority's Yard Waste Compost site on Leland Avenue.
