Utica Man Accused Of Firing At Vehicle With 6 Year Old Inside

A Utica man has been arrested in a "shots fired" incident that happened on Sunday night in the area of Taylor Avenue and Leah Street.

Utica Police say 28-year old Kenneth Warner allegedly fired at a vehicle in which his girlfriend, two other friends and Warner's six-year old child were sitting in.  Police say one round struck the vehicle and the driver then drove away.

Warner was taken into custody at his Taylor Avenue home after a couple of hours of negotiating with police.

He's charged with reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a weapon.

No one was injured in the incident.
