Utica Man Arrested For Assault

Utica Police arrested Peter Cotler, 29, of Howard Ave in Utica for allegedly assaulting a woman.
Police say Cotler became enraged and strangled the woman before throwing her into a cabinet causing a head injury.

Cotler was charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and 3rd degree Assault.
