Utica Man Arrested For Damaging Air Conditioning Unit

A Utica man has been arrested after allegedly damaging an air conditioning unit at a local business.

Utica Police say Thomas Pratt allegedly broke the unit and removed copper components that he then sold to a local recycling facility for $5.

Police say the damage to the air conditioning unit is more than $1,300 and Pratt is facing criminal mischief, trespass and petit larceny charges.
