Utica Man Arrested For Macing Another Man

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man was arrested for allegedly spraying another man in the face with pepper spray.

Utica Police say 48-year old Christopher Martin is facing charges of harassment and unlawfully possessing a noxious material.

Police say a man was sitting on the front steps of his apartment at 728 Columbia Street when Martin punched him in the face and then took out a can of pepper spray and spayed the man in the eyes.

The victim told police he had seen Martin before, but had never spoken to him.
