A Utica man is facing charges following a one and-a-half month long investigation into the sale of Heroin in Utica and the surrounding area.

State Police arrested 20-year old Ruvejd Smajlovic after executing a no-knock search warrant at his apartment on Oswego Street.

Smajlovic was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Police say they allegedly found multiple baggies containing Heroin inside his apartment that were individually packaged for sale.

Authorities say Smajlovic had been out on bond following a previous drug arrest in July.
