Utica Man Arrested On Rape Charge For Alleged Incident In Kirkland

A Utica man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a girl under the age of 17.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center has charged 32-year old Benjamin Philbrook with rape.

Philbrook was originally charged with endangering the welfare of a child.  The charge is the result of an incident took place in February in the Town of Kirkland.

An order of protection has been issued on behalf of the victim.
