Utica Man Arrested Twice For DWI Within Four Hours
Oriskany, NY (WIBX) - The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says a Utica man was arrested twice for DWI on the same night.
18-year old Connor Carroll was stopped on Route 5 in Westmoreland at about 12:30 yesterday morning and charged with DWI, along with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Less than four hours later, a Sheriff's Deputy saw Carroll, who was being picked up by a friend, get behind the wheel of his car and drive away.
He was pulled over after running a stop sign and was arrested again for DWI-Drugs.
While being processed at the Law Enforcement Building, it was discovered Carroll was allegedly recording conversations of several officers in the building on his cellphone.
As a result, he was also charged with eavesdropping.
