Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man is facing charges for allegedly stabbing two people last week. According to Utica Police Department officials, 21-year-old Deashon Tarver, of Oswego Street, stabbed one victim in the back of the head, and then stabbed the other man on his thigh.

Both men were treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital. Tarver, who also goes by the last name, "Henry", is charged with:

  • Two counts of assault in the 2nd degree (both class D felonies)
  • Two counts of criminal possession of weapon 4th degree.

The July 26 incident took place near Waverly Place in Utica.
