A Utica man is facing several felony charges after allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

Utica Police say 22-year old Marquis Boykin went to the women's home at the Kennedy Plaza apartments, cut her with a knife and punched her.

Police say Boykin also sexually assaulted and threatened to kill her.

He was taken into custody by members of the US Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Task Force.
