Utica Man Charged In Assault

A Utica man wanted for assaulting another man has turned himself in.

Utica Police say 51-year old Byron Jordan allegedly hit the man in the head with a hammer during an unprovoked attack in April.

Jordan was charged with felony assault.

The victim was taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital and treated for a head laceration.
