Utica Man Charged Under Leandra’s Law

A Utica man is facing charges under Leandra's Law following a traffic stop on Route 5 in New Hartford.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 33-year old Alvin Morrison was allegedly driving drunk with two children under the age of 15 in his car.

Morrison was also charged with DWI and endangering the welfare of a child.

The children were turned over to their mother.
