Utica Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A Utica man has been arrested for attempted murder in a shooting that happened last month on the 400 block of James Street.

Utica Police say 20-year old Tyvon Reed was developed as a suspect through information obtained by investigators and video and physical evidence

Reed is also charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.

Police say the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
