Utica Man Charged With Endangering The Welfare Of A Child

A Utica man has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center says the alleged incident involving 50-year old Franciso Roman-Cruz took place in Utica in January and involved a 14-year old girl.

The victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center.

Investigators say additional charges are possible.

The Utica Police Department and members of Oneida County Child Protective Services assisted in the investigation.
