Utica Man Charged With Possession Of A Firearm

A Utica man is facing charges after allegedly being found with a gun.

A UPD officer was in the area of City and Green Streets due to recent shots fired incidents when he saw a man who was acting in a suspicious manner.

While the officer was speaking with the man, he reached at his waistband several times.

Police say they conducted a pat down frisk of 31-year old Arthur Brady and found a handgun.

Brady was charged with criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon.
