Utica Man Charged With Sex Abuse Of Child

A Utica man has been arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with a child.

49-year old Fred Gumaer is charged with sexual abuse.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center says the incident involved a girl under the age of 11 in the City of Utica.

Gumaer is being held in the County Jail without bail.

The victim has been offered counseling services through the Child Advocacy Center.
