Utica Man Charged With Sexual Abuse

An investigation by the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center has led to the arrest of a Utica man on sex abuse charges.

47-year old Joseph Bartolomie is charged with sexual abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.  Investigators say Bartolomie allegedly had sexual contact with a girl under the age of 17 at his home.

An order of protection was issued for the victim.  Counseling services were also offered by the CAC.
