Utica Man Charged With Sexually Abusing Two Young Girls

A Utica man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing two children in Rome.

55-year old James Caruso, who lives in Utica but is a native of Brooklyn, is charged with two counts of sexual abuse.

Investigators with the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center say Caruso abused two girls, ages 8 and 10, separately at a home in Rome on Monday night.

The victims have been offered counseling through the CAC.

The investigation is continuing and additional charges are possible.
