Utica Man Charged With Stalking, Criminal Contempt

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - New Hartford Police arrested a Utica man, charging him with Stalking and Criminal Contempt. Officials say 21-year-old Steve Day violated an active order of protection after the roommate of the victim encountered him in the driveway of their residence. Day fled the area on foot after being confronted by the roommate.

Over the past two months, officials say the suspect had similar complaints filed against him in Whitestown and New Hartford. Day turned himself into police after he was contacted. He was sent to Oneida County jail with bail set at $2,000 cash.
