Utica Man Charged With Stealing From His Father

A Utica man is facing charges for allegedly stealing money from his 89-year old father.

Utica Police have charged 56-year old Christopher Jones with petty larceny and possession of a forged instrument.

Police say the victim's other son saw some unusual checks written in his father's account and contacted authorities.

The Oneida County Office for the Aging assisted the UPD in its investigation.
