Utica Man Charged With Stealing From Vehicles In New Hartford

A Utica man is facing several charges after being accused of stealing from vehicles in New Hartford.

Police say a resident saw 19-year old Michael Monahan rummaging through a vehicle in his driveway and called 9-1-1.

Monahan is charged with grand larceny and six counts of petty larceny.

He's being held in the Oneida County jail without bail.

Police say their investigation is continuing and more arrests and charges are pending.
