Utica Man Facing Charges Following Police Chase

A Utica man is facing numerous charges after leading an Oneida County Sheriff's Deputy on a high-speed chase through Westmoreland, Kirkland and New Hartford.

It started when the deputy tried to pull over 24-year old Kendrick Pollard on Route 5 in Westmoreland.

It ended at the intersection of Middle Settlement road when Pollard's motorcycle collided with the deputy's patrol car.

Pollard is facing charges including fleeing a police officer and reckless drving.
