A Utica man is facing numerous charges following a traffic stop on Elizabeth Street.

Police say 26-year old Joshua Robinson had something concealed in his hand and when officers tried to take him into custody, he began fighting.

Officers used a taser on Robinson, which had little effect.

During the struggle, the taser fell to the ground and Robinson tried to grab it.

The officers were able to keep it away from him and take him into custody.

Robinson was allegedly found with 10 baggies of crack cocaine and marijuana.

He's facing charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
