Utica Man Facing Drug And Weapons Charges

A Utica man has been arrested on drug and weapons charges after Utica Police searched an apartment on Scott Street.

32-year old Rashleigh Austin is facing numerous charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.

The search warrant was in regards to an extensive investigation into the possession and sale of illegal drugs,

Police say during their search, they found a significant quantity of heroin and cocaine, along with marijuana and an illegal semi-automatic handgun.
