Utica Man Facing Felony Domestic Dispute Violation

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man was taken into police custody following a domestic dispute investigation. Officials charged 23-year-old Ryan Richardson with 1st Degree Criminal Contempt, a felony, and Harassment, a violation, for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend on Sunset Avenue near Waverly Place, when the two ran into each other.

The victim, who has an active order of protection against the suspect, told police that Richardson grabbed her sweatshirt from behind and punched her in the face. Utica police were assisted by the US Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force.
