A Utica man has been arrested by the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center on a rape charge.

Investigators say Utica Police had responded to a domestic dispute on Lamb Street between a 25-year old man and a teenage girl.

During their investigation, police determined that Luis Silvagnoli had allegedly been in a sexual relationship with the girl, who is under the age of 17.

In addition to the rape charge, the UPD also charged Silvagnoli with unlawful imprisonment, criminal mischief, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the domestic dispute.

An order of protection was issued for the victim.
