Utica Man Facing Weapons Charges

A Utica man is facing weapons charges after leading police on a foot chase.

Utica Police say 41-year old James Spratt was allegedly in possession of a handgun that was reported stolen from Poughkeepsie.

The arrest took place in the parking lot of the Kennedy Plaza Apartments

Spratt is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.

Police say further charges may be possible.
