Utica Man Facing Weapons Charges

A Utica man has been arrested under Operation GIVE.

GIVE is a coordinated effort aimed at reducing violent firearms-related offenses

Utica Police developed information that a man was possibly in possession of firearms.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on Mohawk Street and allegedly found 25-year old Jasmin Dizdarevic with two handguns.

Dizdarevic was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of stolen property.
